Personal stories, not advice
Everything on this site is my personal story, memories, opinions and interpretation of my own experiences. It is not medical, psychological, legal or professional advice.
Health
I write about living with haemophilia, brain haemorrhage, infected blood, mental health and gender transition. My experience is mine alone. Always speak to a qualified medical professional about your own health. If you have haemophilia, follow the advice of your haemophilia centre.
Drugs
Some stories describe drug use. This is an honest account of my life, not an endorsement or encouragement. If you’re struggling with drug use, support is available from organisations such as FRANK (talktofrank.com).
Spiritual and unexplained experiences
Some experiences I describe, such as “the void”, may be spiritual, psychological, drug-related or something else entirely. I share them as I experienced them, and I make no scientific claims.
People and events
Some names and identifying details have been changed to protect privacy. Memories are subjective, and others may remember events differently.
